The city manager saw his job secured for another year, along with a pay increase following a closed session on Tuesday night.

The Seguin City Council approved to extend the contract of City Manager Doug Faseler with a 2.5 percent pay raise tonight after spending about an hour in executive session. The action was approved 6-2 with councilmen Chris Aviles and Ernest Leal voting against the measure.
