Michael Willie Naumann (Smiley),67, passed away on Thursday, June 6. He was born on December 3, 1951 in Seguin, Texas to George and Adelyn Naumann.
Mike graduated from Seguin High School, class of 1970. Following graduation, he attended The University of Texas in Austin. He was employed as an operations manager for the cable TV industry for many years. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, the beach, Longhorn sports and most of all being a grandpa and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Naumann of Florida, son Christopher and his wife Elizabeth and granddaughter Lyra of Florida, and daughter Linzy Kates of Florida ; sisters Debbie Naumann Rodgers and husband Johne of San Antonio, Sharon Naumann Davis and husband Larry of Magnolia; nieces Lisa Jones and husband Judson; Katie Scull and husband James; great nieces Makenzie Jones and Adelyn Gibson-Scull and great nephews Ashton Jones and Jamesyn Scull; aunts and uncle Juanita Dreibrodt, Joyce Dreibrodt, Georgia Lee Naumann, Catherine Covey, and Melvin and Doris Engler and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Adelyn Naumann of Seguin, grandparents Katie and Willie Naumann and Oscar and Ella Engler of Seguin, Texas.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 14, at the VFW in Geronimo, Texas.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
