Dale Allen Brueggemann

Dale Allen Brueggemann, loving husband and father of four children, succumbed to cancer at the age of 59 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on June 21, 2019.

Dale was born on July 1, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to Donald And Beatrice Brueggemann. On March 3, 1984, he married Carolina Tijerina. They raised two sons, Ben and Bradley, and two daughters, Kellie and Erica. Dale was self-employed for over 30 years and enjoyed every minute spent building his businesses.

Dale was a dedicated and loving husband and father first and foremost. He had a passion for business and politics and was one of the hardest working men around. He loved shooting guns, hunting, and traveling.

Some of his favorite hobbies were gambling, collecting sports memorabilia and vacationing with his family. He also enjoyed watching movies and reading in his free time.

He was known for his generosity, opinionated personality, and kind spirit. He made friends everywhere he went and most of all loved his family and instilled in his children strong values that have served them well.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Brueggemann, his mother, Beatrice Ann (Kusselman) Brueggemann and his brother Scott Leonard Brueggemann.

He is survived by his loving wife Carolina, children, Benjamin Ramos, Kellie Hernandez and husband Rick, Bradley Brueggemann, Erica Brueggemann and his grandchildren, Heather Ramos, Breanna Balderas, Carla Ramos, Isabella Hernandez, Kaleb Ramos, Korbin Ramos and countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 5-7pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 10am at Cross Church, with Pastor Jim Price officiating, followed by a burial service at the Kingsbury Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion H.U. Wood Post 245 P.O. Box 503, Seguin, Texas 78156 and flowers may be sent to Tres Hewell Mortuary.

Serving as pallbearers will be B.J. Rangel, Jordash and Nathanial Castro, Ricardo Juarez Jr., Henry and Kyle Tijerina, Benny Benson, and Rick Hernandez.
