Sarah Elizabeth Skains and Andrew John Daniel Padron were married on March 2, 2013, in the Chapel at Ashelynn Manor in Magnolia, Texas.

The Reverend Doug Dommer performed the ceremony. Music was provided by soloist Kobi Nichols, guitarist Ian Hodgdon, and Divisi Strings quartet.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Douglas Skains of Magnolia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Padron of San Antonio, Texas.

The bride wore a Jim Hjlem Silk Shantung ivory gown.The strapless body-skimming silhouette complimented the tiered skirt and chapel-length train. Sarah chose a JimHjelm fully beaded belt adorned with Swarovski Crystal to accent her waistline. Adding a touch of traditional flair, she completed her look with a Pronovias lace bolero. Her two-tier elbow length veil was edged with sparkling Swarovski Crystals. The teardrop bridal bouquet included Vendella cream roses, white Cymbidium orchids, white Lizinathus blossoms and pussy willows with the couple’s monogram on ivory ribbon. The bride also chose to include in her bouquet a hankie her maternal grandmother, mother and sister-in-law had in theirs.

The Maid of Honor was Miss Paige Hoffmann of Seguin, Texas and Matron of Honor was Mrs. Erin Groves of Cedar Park, Texas. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Karen Skains (sister-in-law of bride) of Dallas, Texas, Miss Holly Handley of Abilene, Texas, and Mrs. Heather Dornburg of New Braunfels, Texas. Flower girls were Miss Ripley and Miss Harley McCallick of Seguin. Mr. Danny Padron served as his son’s Best Man. Groomsmen were Mr. James Peters of San Antonio, Mr. Matthew Skains (brother of bride) of Dallas, Mr. Andrew McClintock of San Antonio, and Mr. Kyle Ingraham of Seguin. Ring bearer was Master Ryan Brewer of Spring, Texas. Ushers were Mr. Braxton Harris of Seguin and Mr. Chris Lewis of Gorman, Texas.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Carriage House at Ashelynn Manor. Members of the house party included Miss Lexie Altinger of Midland, Texas and Mrs. Kathryn McClintock of San Antonio.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Klein High School in Klein, Texas and a 2012 graduate of Texas Lutheran University in Seguin. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Oak Creek Elementary in New Braunfels. The groom is a 2003 graduate of Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio and a 2007 graduate of The University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas. He is the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Texas Lutheran University.

Following a wedding trip to Puerto Rico the couple will reside in Seguin.
