Text-only options

We offer an abbreviated text-only web edition for users with slow Internet hook-ups or with disabilities that require special text readers. If you enjoy our graphical edition, but have difficulty printing articles, click on the "printer-friendly version" link provided with each story.

Clearing the browser's cache

If you keep seeing the same page even though you are reloading your browser, you may need to clear your cache. A browser's cache stores the files and images for recently viewed pages.

You can clear the browser's cache on some version of Internet Explorer by clicking on the Tools pull-down menu, choosing Internet Options, and clicking on the Delete Files button in the Temporary Internet Files section. This can also be done on some versions of Netscape by clicking on the Edit pull-down menu, choosing Preferences, double-clicking on the Advanced category, choosing the cache subdirectory, and pressing both the Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache buttons.

Make us your home page

You can make The Gazette-Enterprise Web Edition the first site you see when your browser loads. This can be done on some versions of Internet Explorer by clicking on the Tools pull-down menu, choosing Internet Options, and typing http://seguingazette.com in the text box marked Address. This can also be done on some versions of Netscape by clicking on the Edit pull-down menu, choosing Preferences, clicking on Navigator, and typing http://seguingazette.com in the text box marked Location.
