As people continue getting their lives back to the way they were in January, trouble possibly looms for Texas residents, a federal agency warns.

Scam artists pop up during recovery from every disaster and last month’s winter storm isn’t likely to be an exception, said Maria Figueroa, who works in media relations for the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency Office of External Affairs.
