The Marion Public Library officially opens its new location in the former Marion Volunteer Fire Department building located at 201 S. Center St. Marion.

A place that housed equipment to extinguish fires is now the home to items that ignite a love of learning.

The Marion Community Library officially opened its doors in Marion’s former fire station at 201 Center St. with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, after a three-week soft opening.
