The Guadalupe County Elections office has received a list of 249 people from the state who will need to have their citizenship verified to remain on the county’s voter rolls, election officials said Tuesday.

The list of 249 people sent to Guadalupe County was part of 95,000 individuals who were flagged for possible citizenship checks by the Texas Secretary of State’s office.
