Owners of a piece of Marion history are transforming it to offer a one-stop shop for drinks, food, education and native south Texas plants.

Marion native Chuck Hildebrand bought Schulz Nursery more than a year ago and recently decided to breathe new life into the Marion staple by aiming to create a community hub where customers can purchase plants specifically native to the south Texas area.
