Much like he did for the primary runoff elections that took place earlier this month, on Monday Gov. Greg Abbott gave voters more time to do their civic duty for the upcoming presidential election.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and health emergency, Abbott proclaimed early voting to begin earlier for the Nov. 3 election and last longer. Guadalupe County Elections Administrator Lisa Hayes said she was not surprised by the move.
