Tuesday marked the 100th anniversary of ratification of the 19th Amendment.

Every year, the anniversary of women’s suffrage brings about a feeling of pride, but also bewilderment. It is shocking to think just how different the country’s landscape was a little more than a single lifetime ago.

So glad that this subject was picked, especially with all of the distractions. As an integral part of our history, it never really gets the attention it deserves at the high school level.
