There’s a disconnect for the Republicans

Posted: Friday, October 5, 2012 12:00 am

To listen to or read articles from Republicans, the attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya ranks right up there with the attack on Pearl Harbor or the terrorist attack on Sept. 11.

They make it sound as though the entire United States were under attack and there was a conspiracy on the part of the President and the Democrats to let it happen.

Jack Linden, your gullibility to the Liberal Dem Kool aid is astounding, especially when this POTUS has been so careless in how he handles priorities in matters of security. His debate performance only highlighted his unpreparedness and aloofness for the responsibility of the office of POTUS.

    Mr. Linden,

Why do you not ask why the Secretary of State, the President of the United States and his minions who put out the stupid story about that attack being the result of a two bit home made movie. The reality is, they knew that it was a lie before they said it.

The Ambassador made not one but three requests for additional security forces and his requests were denied. Do a little research and you will find that the Abassador communicated to a personal friend days before the attack that the local police were outside taking pictures of the Embasy Compound. His requests for additional security personnel was being ignored. He stated that he felt sure something was going to happen and that he would not get out of Libia alive. All this happened days before the two bit movie was released and the Embasy being attacked.

Why do you not ask why those Marines and Navy Seals that died with the Ambassador were unarmed. Why not ask why there was not one single death among those that breached our Embasy walls when our Marnes were in that Embasy. Why not ask why they had no bullets in their weapons with which to defend themselves and the Ambassador. As far as I am concerned those who denied those men the resources and the bullets to defend themselves and the Ambassador should be charged with murder and stand before a firing squad for treason. I am glad that I am no longer in the Military in this day in time when Politicans send our brave young men and women into harms way and then refuse them the basic necessities required to protect themselves or do their job.

Some among us have a selective memory. Colin Powell, President Bush and all of members of Congress as well as colition forces saw the same intellegence, if you want to call it that, Not one Democrat that I can remember voted against going to war. Going into Afganistan after Bin Laden I feel was the right thing to do. Can't say that I agreed with going into Iraq. If you have proof of one Democrat voting against going to war please post it, my memory might be slipping a bit.
