In response to a mailed Christmas card, I recently received in return a sweet letter from 97-year-old Mary, who had been a dear friend of my late mother when she lived in Ohio.

Her correspondence was to thank me for the card and to inform me of her new address in an assisted living facility after having to leave the home she had lived in for over 50 years.
