As the Fourth of July draws near, more and more people are shoring up their celebration plans. Some may go to the beach, others to nearby lakes and rivers. Some will head to a family member’s or friend’s backyard and celebrate, but there are several things to keep in mind as we gather this holiday.

As always, be careful when choosing to participate in the tradition of lighting up the sky with pyrotechnics. Do not let children handle fireworks unsupervised.
