A pair of drug makers — Pfizer and Moderna — were the first to create a vaccine set to help fight off COVID-19 and thus reduce the amount of spread.

There are more drug makers who are on their heels, including Johnson & Johnson, preparing to launch their own vaccine. Each of the vaccines has their pros and cons, and people are weighing each to determine which one they would prefer and whether or not they will get one.

Covid 19 vaccine distribution is complicated by a demand far greater than the supply. As a result, information regarding where, when, and how to is lacking and seemingly dependent on who you know. That, in my view, needs to be resolved. As it is, those in the targeted recipient categories could be waiting a year to be vaccinated.
