Cinderella Ball 2018

A king escorts his princess into the Cinderella Ball on June 22, 2018 at the Seguin Events Complex - Coliseum.

On Friday, young girls and women alike will don their best and wait for the kings in their life to escort them to the annual Cinderella Ball.

The annual event hosted by the Seguin Police Department’s D.A.R.E. program is an opportunity to fathers and daughters of all ages to spend an evening together.

There is dinner and dancing, carriage rides and flowers.

There are pictures and most importantly memories that will last a lifetime.

The young ladies and their dates dress their best for this evening out on the town.

The setting offers the kings chances to show their princesses how they should be treated by other gentlemen.

A father is a daughter’s example of this.

Seguin Police D.A.R.E. Officer Hope Vasquez said it is a beautiful sight to see.

“It’s a magical night for our princesses to feel special. Just seeing all these princesses on their night wearing the big fancy dresses and their dads matching them,” she said. “The dads really go out of their way to come dressed up as well. It’s beautiful to see them together and a couple of hours together.”

We hope all dads and daughters who spend this royal evening together enjoy it, and remember it happily ever after.
