Navarro @La Vernia

Navarro senior running back James Brinsley makes his way downfield downfield in the Panther’s game against La Vernia on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 in La Vernia.

In their season opening 28-19 loss to La Vernia on Friday night, Navarro Panthers committed as many turnovers — six — as they did in all 14 games of their 2019 season combined.

That stunning number is both a testament to how well the Panthers protected the ball in 2019 and how poorly they did so at Bear Stadium.
