Please HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY OUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT WOULD PUT YELLOW STRIPS DOWN A NARROW ROAD. Guadalupe County IS DOING JUST THAT.
I live in Hickory Forest, and our roads are being graded now. The problem is, if you pull a travel trailer or drive a big rig through that area, the roads will be still to narrow. Mail boxes need to be moved farther back from the road.
I’m not sure whose idea this was or why it’s necessary. Spend the money on something that is needed, like resurfacing our roads. I would like to see how many wrecks are out in this area and how many are caused by not having a yellow line.
Please, feel free to respond to this letter.
