Our elderly mother recently attended bingo at the American Legion in Seguin and apparently lost her wallet in the parking lot. The following morning the wallet was found and turned in to Gloria, a helpful lady who works at the American Legion.

It was completely soaked but had all our mother’s important documents and precious photos. The few dollars she remembers having were in there too! Our family was very happy to hear that our mother’s wallet was turned in and therefore want to say thank you to this kind, honest soul who chose to do the right thing!

M. Martinez,

New Braunfels

It's wonderful to know there are still good hearted people in this world! Your husband is a wonderful person. Wish he could teach a class on how to be honest in our schools....

My husband was the one who found your mother's wallet and he's glad it was returned to its owner. Thank you for your kind words and you are welcome.[smile]

That's our Gloria alright! She's a hard worker and a real gem...and always willing to help. A real asset to the Legion Hall and to the ladies Auxiliary.
