As dogs are apt to do in a fight, Marion High School’s football team scratched, clawed and fought with all it had Friday night, but a win was just not in the cards on the road against the Randolph Ro-Hawks.

Gritty play wasn’t enough for the Bulldogs to pull off the win as they fell 35-21 against a hard-running offense and a defense that capitalized on a couple of key Marion miscues.
