Seguin High School's John Leandro competes at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association’s Region 2 Division 1 Regional powerlifting meet in Lumberton. His lifting qualified him for a spot at the state tournament.
Seguin High School junior Shaylin Franklin earned third place in her weight class at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association State Powerlifting Meet in Corpus Christi.
