Matadors turned away on final snap in loss to Mules

Posted: Sunday, October 7, 2012 12:00 am

SAN ANTONIO — The Matadors (2-3, 1-1) were so tantalizingly close to victory Friday night against Alamo Heights (4-1, 2-0) that the final result seemed almost criminal.

Seguin, which led by nine points halfway through the fourth quarter, watched the hard-charging Mules score 16 unanswered points to grab a 39-32 lead with 3:36 left in the contest.

I don't undersstand. I am class of 66 and for years Seguin football was awesome.Anybody remember David Anderson, prob classof 64. He would play until he passed out, and get back in the game. Of course they hd coach Peckal (sp) and coach Kelly. Coach Kelly's neck muscles started right under his ear's. His eye's were about a half inch apart. Need some more corn fed boys.
