Navarro vs Austin Achieve

Panther defenders Hunter Monroe and Zeke Campos corral a Polar Bear during Navarros’ win over Austin Achieve on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020 at Erwin Lee Field.

There always seems to be a lot on the line whenever the Navarro Panthers and the Wimberley Texans get together.

Since 2010, the game between the teams has determined the district champion seven times. They have also met twice in the state quarterfinals, including last year when the Texans thrashed Navarro 42-12 at the Alamodome despite losing the district championship to the Panthers six weeks earlier.
