400 block, North Camp Street
SEGUIN — Compact discs and DVDs worth about $560 were reported stolen in a vehicle burglary discovered Saturday.
According to a Seguin Police Department report, the owner of a blue 2001 Jeep Cherokee reported parking the vehicle Friday.
Upon return at about 10:40 a.m. Sun day, 46 CDs and four DVDs were discovered missing.
500 block, State Highway 123 Bypass
SEGUIN — A case containing hairdressing tools was reported stolen in a vehicle burglary Monday afternoon.
According to a Seguin Police Department report a customer stopped at Wal-Mart a little after 4 p.m. and went into the store.
When the shopper returned to the 2001 Ford Explorer, the SUV had been broken into, police said.
Missing were two razors, a hair clipper, two pairs of scissors, a trimmer, thinning shears, a cosmetology license and a bottle of prescription drugs, police said. In all, the missing property was worth about $580, police said.
Investigation into the incident continues.
1000 block, Bauer Street
SEGUIN — A lawn mower was discovered missing early Tuesday by a resident who found his dog running loose.
Seguin police reported the victim discovered the gate to a backyard fence was open Tuesday morning, and the dog was out.
Upon putting the dog back in the yard, the owner noted that the lawn mower was missing.
It was worth about $250, police reported.
1700 block, North Camp Street
SEGUIN — A Camp Street resident who reset an auto burglary alarm at 1 a.m. Tuesday went to the vehicle later that day to find out it had been broken into.
According to a Seguin Police Department report, a resident of the 1700 block of North Camp reported locking the vehicle the previous evening.
At 1 a.m., the vehicle’s alarm went off, but the owner didn’t go out to check on it.
At 11 a.m., it was discovered that an Apple iPod Touch was missing from the vehicle.
The missing music device was worth $340, police said.
E. 200 block, Sherman Street
SEGUIN — A pair of air conditioners and other property were taken in the burglary of a Sherman Street home discovered Tuesday.
Police say the victim reported the house had been secured at 9 p.m. Monday. When he returned at 7 p.m. Tuesday, two window air conditioners, various hand tools, a white box fan and a jar full of coins were all missing.
The victim didn’t know how much money was in the jar. But the rest of the property was worth more than $800, he reported.
