Lillian Frances Wunderlich

Lillian Frances Wunderlich, 90, of New Braunfels, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital-New Braunfels.

She was born Sept. 30, 1918, to Oscar Schwarzlose and Hilda (Gold) Schwarzlose in Guadalupe County. She was a member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary, the Harmony Singing Club, and the Barbarossa Bowling Club. She was also a member of the Friedens Church and was very active in the church choir and also playing organ.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Hempe and husband Alfred of Karnes City; son, Daniel Wunderlich and wife Maxine of New Braunfels; granddaughters, Roxanne Wunderlich and husband Mark Campbell of New Braunfels and Marla Wunderlich and husband Neal Horn; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Katie, and Brianna. She was preceded in death by her husband Lothar Wunderlich.

Public visitation will begin 5 p.m. Monday at the Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at the Friedens Church with interment to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be given to Friedens Church, 2555 Friedens Church Rd. Seguin, Texas 78155.
