Joyce L. Ferris
Joyce L. Ferris passed away in Seguin on Dec. 19, 2009, at the age of 68 years.
Joyce was a longtime nursing home administrator and daycare director. She loved being in the kitchen at home and church, and taught Sunday School for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.M. and Marie Reimer. Joyce is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roy Dale Ferris; son, Jeffery Dale Ferris with wife Shari; son, Jerry D. Ferris with wife Ginger; daughter, Julie D. Sharp with husband Kenny; sister, Irene Jantzen of Sapulpa, Okla.; sister, Rose Marie Unruh of Enid, Okla.; brother, Virgil Reimer of Medford, Okla.; and grandchildren: Demi Diane Bonnett with husband Court, Nikki Lauren Ferris, Kenneth Dale Sharp, Jordan Kristopher Sharp, Jeri Nichole Sharp. Joyce was expecting her first great-grandchild in March 2010. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 22 at Country Church in Marion.
