Vicenta G. Soto
Vicenta G. Soto of New Braunfels, Texas was born in Maxwell, Texas on April 5, 1923, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 6, 2009, at the age of 85 years.
Vicenta was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Soto Jr. in January of 2009. She is survived by her sons, Albert Soto Sr. and Jaqueline, Jesse Soto Sr. and Georgia, and Carlos Soto III and Linda; daughter, Mary Ann Soto; grandchildren, Albert Soto, Jr., Jesse Soto, Jr., Kristina Soto, Debra Helen Soto, Jo Ann Soto, Cloriss Ann Soto and Amanda Soto; great-grandchildren, T.J. Gonzales, Hunter Gonzales, Ciara Marlow, Korbin Lindon, Christian Trujillo and Analis Soto; brother, Ben Soto; and by sisters, Alicia Guerrero and Carolina Polanco.
A visitation will be held in the Goetz Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, from 5-9 p.m., with the Holy rosary to be recited in her honor at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, beginning at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment service will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.
