Wild Horse Ministries rides into Marion

Published September 22, 2009

SEGUIN — Wild horses shouldn’t keep you away from The Country Church Arena in Marion on Oct. 3.

The Country Church will present Wild Horse Ministries with Paul Dailey of Trout, La. Pastor Butch Ikels said Dailey is an equine specialist who really understands horses and how to communicate with them.

“It’s really something to see,” Ikels said. “He will gently break a horse in under two hours while sharing biblical principles. It’s interesting to see the transformation take place.”

Ikels says the event is family-friendly and free.

“The economy is tough right now,” Ikels said. “This is something you can enjoy with the whole family on a Saturday night for free.”

The event includes free burgers, chips, and a drink. Food will be served from 5-6 p.m. Dinner will be followed by a performance by Christian singer, Clifton Jansky at 6 p.m. The Wild Horse Ministry begins at 7 p.m., and should last about two hours.

The Country Church Arena is located behind the Worship Center at 1005 W. FM 78 in Marion. For more information about the event, contact the Country Church at 830-914-4749.

Paul Dailey does about 250 shows a year and this year’s schedule also includes a Wild Horse Ministries event on Oct. 4 at the City Park in La Vernia, and one in Castroville on Oct. 10, next to Lundquist Chevrolet.
