Lee Roy Bowles
Lee Roy Bowles of Corpus Christi, Texas, was born in Freer, Texas, on Feb. 19, 1942, and passed away on Aug. 23, 2009, at the age of 67. He is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda Bowles of San Marcos, Texas; step-daughter, Lisa Duncan; and two grandchildren, Ethan Champion and Harley Duncan. Lee was a graduate of Seguin High School, and attended college at both Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas and Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Mr. Bowles grew up living in McQueeney, Texas, with his parents in a home the three of them built themselves.
This “Lake Life” of course made Lee an avid water skier which was one of his true loves. A visitation will be held in the Goetz Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. with funeral services to begin at 4 p.m. following visitation. Interment services will be held privately at a later date.
