Susana “Susie” Landin Valdez
Susana “Susie” Landin Valdez, age 64 of Seguin, passed away on Oct. 28, 2009.
Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 6 p.m. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. service at La Trinidad United Methodist Church with Rev. Isidro Pina officiating. Interment will follow in Santo Tomas Cemetery.
Susie was born on May 23, 1945 in New Braunfels, Texas to Pablo and Leonor Ruiz Landin. Her parents and her brother, Evaristo R. Landin Sr., precede her in death. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Andres “Andy” Valdez; daughter, Andrea S. Cruz and husband Margarito; grandchildren, Gabriella L. Cruz, age 9 and Adam Xavier Cruz, age 4; siblings, Christina Alvarez, Juanita Bustos and husband, Delio, Antonio R. Landin Sr. and wife Rosa, Pablo R. Landin Jr. and wife, Frances, Maria L. Medellin and husband, Reyes and Manuel R. Landin, Sr. and wife, Gloria; numerous other family members. Susie’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.
