October 11, 1929 to October 5, 2018.

Born in Abilene, Nancy moved at an early age to Georgetown, Texas with her parents, R.M (Coach) and Oneita C. (Mimi) Medley and older brother Dave, where her father took the jobs of coach and athletic director at Southwestern University and her mother the job of high school chemistry teacher.

Nancy later graduated from Southwestern and became a football coach (for one year) and teacher herself — in English and Drama — for some 30 years. In Corpus Christi, she met Jack Richard Rowley and the two married.

Nancy was well known and well loved by her students at Seguin High School, her friends at First United Methodist Church, her friends in Seguin and central Texas and her family.

She was also recognized for her talents and dedication in the classroom with numerous awards, including State Teacher of the Year award.

She is survived by two children, Becky Flynt and Tom Rowley, their spouses, children and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday March 30, 2019 at 10am at First United Methodist Church in Seguin.
