GERONIMO — Working with his father at the age of 18, delivering wood to barbecue restaurant owners, Riley Salas didn’t know one day he’d own two barbecue eateries himself. Not until the night the owner of Bob’s Smokehouse San Antonio advised Salas that if he ever went into the restaurant business, the most practical type of restaurant to own is a barbecue place.

‘“If you ever want to get into the restaurant business, get into barbecue,”’ Salas recalled. ‘“You don’t need a dishwasher, and you don’t need all those chemicals.’ That’s what kind of inspired me,” he said. “It was a good idea.”

I was really hoping that Id find something like Luling or Lockhart bbq so I decided to give it a try. The Brisket was amazing and the beans were good ...the chicken was dry and they were out of sausage and out of potato salad. Bathroom was filthy .... C+ at best
