Suicide Awareness Month

September is as Suicide Awareness month

Local organizations and individuals are finding ways to help people cope when they feel they have no reason to continue living.

Oftentimes, those people have reached the ends of their rope and believe no one cares whether they stay or go, said Laraine Turner, senior vice president and cognitive behavior therapist at Precious Life Crusade Teen Suicide Prevention in Seguin. Those thoughts couldn’t be further from the truth, she said.
