Central Fire

A sign sits outside of Seguin Fire Department's Central Fire Station alerting the public to the station's closure as it undergoes nearly $2.5 million in approved renovations Friday, July 23, 2021, in Seguin.

For a while, officials with the Seguin Fire Department have known the day was coming.

They’ve tried to secure funding, and only recently received unanimous approval from City Council to go forward with refurbishment of the nearly-75-year-old Roger G. Mycue Central Fire Station near downtown Seguin.
