SAN ANTONIO — Who could think of a better scenario than playing the last game of the regular season going to battle for the final playoff seed? The Cole Cougars taking the field on senior night and the Marion Bulldogs poised to play the spoiler role played out perfectly for the visiting team.

The Bulldog faithful traveled on Interstate 10 west to cheer on their boys. There wasn’t an empty seat to be found as the Bulldogs caged the Cougars 27-12. The win helped to secure the next game, the bi-district round of the playoffs against the Llano Yellow Jackets in Pflugerville on Nov. 12.
