SAN MARCOS — For two quarters on Friday night, the Navarro Panthers (10-2) looked like they were in a turkey coma and headed for a certain playoff exit. But football games last four quarters. And sometimes even longer.

The Panthers needed every bit of that to rally for 29-28 overtime victory over the Sinton Pirates (11-2) in the third round of the Class 4A-II playoffs.
