Seguin softball’s (15-5-1, 1-0) ability to get on base and play structured defense lifted them to a 8-2 win, Tuesday, over the Pieper Lady Warriors (10-10, 0-1).

Starting off with a district win is always good for morale, but there were some mistakes that need to be fixed, Seguin softball head coach John Garcia said.
